Karen A. Fordham is the Chief Financial Officer for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Karen joined the 100 in December 2016, from local government, where she served as a member of the District Attorney’s Executive staff for five years. While there, she managed a budget of $14 million and provided human resource services for a team of over 160 employees. Before the District Attorney’s Office, Karen served as Vice President of Finance for Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV). Karen brings over 30 years of experience from multiple sectors including, 11 years in Healthcare Finance, eight years in Corporate Finance, five years in Local Government and nine years and counting in the Non-Profit Sector.
Karen earned a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration, from Keller Graduate School and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from Mercy College in New York. She also holds a certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Georgia.
Karen is an active member of Big Bethel A.M.E. Church where she is past president of an auxiliary board and remains an active member. She volunteered at the credit union and coordinated major church functions. Karen loves to spend time with family and friends.
