To provide annual financial support to talented students in their pursuit of a post-secondary education.

Vision Statement
100 Black Men of America, Inc. will provide annual scholarships to deserving high school and post- secondary students to aid in their education by helping to fill financial gaps during their matriculation.

100 Black Men of America, Inc. National Scholarship Program will provide scholarships from among the pool of national applicants. The needs-based award is only open to 100 Black Men mentees, Collegiate 100®, or affiliates who are graduating high school seniors or college undergraduates enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines to be considered for the scholarship.

All Mentees from 100 Black Men and Collegiate 100® Chapters are highly encouraged to apply. Chapter Presidents will receive communication from the Headquarters Office strongly encouraging their 100 Black Men mentees who are transitioning to and/or presently in post-secondary institutions to apply.

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 and is expected to be applied towards tuition, room, board, and books. Books scholarships are $500. Checks will be mailed from the Headquarters Office and made payable to the mentee’s institution of record.


‘All applicants for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. National Scholarship Program must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • 100 Black Men Affiliation: Mentee, Collegiate 100®, or Affiliate
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary institution and/or planning to attend a post-secondary institution in
    the Fall of 2018 as a full-time student for the entire 2018-2019 academic year
  • 500-word essay on the specified topic: “Why do you need this scholarship?”
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) score indicating financial NEED.
